I’m in a love-hate relationship with food. I have not been making healthy eating choices. I know I am one of those people that does better when I completely limit something. It’s easier for me to say I will have no dessert than to have dessert once a week. And usually I’m willing to say I won’t eat a particular food type. But lately I don’t want to give it up.
It is going to be my top challenge for this year. I need and want to build a healthier relationship with food. But quite honestly I’m not sure the best place to start. I have plans to grow and heirloom garden this summer. I’m hoping that will help. If I’m really hands on with my food and I see where it comes from and I worked hard to produce it maybe I’ll do a better job of choosing only things my grandma would recognize.
