Challenge #19: Shopping Lines

This holiday season every time you are stuck in line at the grocery store or the mall use that time to exercise. Try these subtle exercises:

  • Pull your belly button to your spine
  • Do kegel exercises
  • Balance on one foot (then the other)
  • Lift and lower your heels off the ground
  • Keep your hips forward and rotate the upper body at the rib cage
  • Take a few deep breaths
  • Nod your head up and down slowly and gently
  • Lift and lower your shoulders

There is a lot more you can do with the body in a confined space without too many people taking notice. Be creative and do what feels good.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
