It’s Monday morning, are your belly button and kegel engaged? I really don’t think I can say this enough. Pilates, for all it’s strange coordination and breathing that sometimes seems impossible, really does start to teach you and think about your body all day long.
So right now, try to hone your practice a little bit. Take two minutes and write down five places where you will remember to engage your core today. If you already think about it at stop signs and red lights, come up with a new place. Tape your list to your computer or bathroom mirror so you remember to stick to it.
If you don’t remember all five today, try again tomorrow.
