Go Local

Eating local is getting to be more popular. It is supposed to be healthier, support you local economy, and reduce your carbon footprint. There is a great website with information about what is local in Connecticut and where to get it. You can find out about farmers’ markets, restaurants, and in-season foods. It’s a great resource if you’re interested.

As to be expected there are currently no fresh fruits listed on the site, but there is dairy, meat, fabrics, plants and some vegetables.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
