Notice You're Less Thirsty?
Remember those “The More You Know” Campaigns from the 90’s that aired on TV with a shooting star logo? The first one actually aired in 1989 with Tom Brokow talking about education. They still exist and now cover topics like social media and online scams. This post feels a little like a More You Know Campaign.
It turns out our thirst mechanism doesn’t work as well when we get older. Around 65 we can’t tell we are thirsty as good as we used, which can lead to people not feeling thirsty until they are already dehydrated. Annoying for sure…but the more you know the more you can make a change.
So just be aware, you may not feel thirsty until it’s too late. Remember to drink throughout the day. I suggest starting the day with a glass of water. It’s a very manageable habit that gets us started on the right foot. The More You Know.
