High heels, heavy handbags, office desk configurations—these are just some of items from everyday life that Pilates instructors dread.  Most people aren’t willing to give up the heels, and we don’t always have a choice about our desk space, but we can easily make a change in our purse or handbag and our body will benefit.
Here’s how:
Dump everything out.  Throw out all trash and non-essentials (be tough on yourself).  Repack.  Hopefully when you repack you do it with a handbag that is half the size. 
If shrinking your handbag cramps your style at least consider switching which side you carry it on every other day.
