Stay on Track

Sometimes it’s hard to drag yourself out of bed in the morning or leave work to go workout instead of head home for dinner. We often think of the bad part of the workout and that can help us convince ourselves to skip it. So next time you don’t want to get up and work out, think of your favorite things about your workout and get excited about them. Do you like seeing certain people in a class? Do you have a favorite exercise or song? Do you feel good when you’ve reached a certain goal on an elliptical? Whatever gets you motivated, let it motivate you. Focus on the positive and skip the negative. You’ll feel better when you convince yourself to move.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
