Vegan Ice Cream

One of my biggest concerns with becoming vegan in the summer was missing out on the best two ice cream months in Connecticut, but I don’t have to miss out. Divine Treasures in Manchester Connecticut, my favorite local shop to get chocolate, makes vegan ice cream. And it’s great. I would have thought it would be very icy, but in fact it’s delicious and rich.

If you find yourself in Manchester, even if you are free to eat dairy, this ice cream is worth trying. I’ve now tried pumpkin, chocolate and vanilla with ginger—all great. And while you’re there you might as well pick up a couple of pieces of chocolate. They are vegan and the best chocolate I’ve ever put in my mouth.

I love local businesses that do such a great job making such a yummy product.

Trader Joe’s has yummiest vegan ice creams. My fav is Cherry/Choc Chip.
Very tasty, made with real cherries!
