I’m out of the country, so it may not be entirely fair of me to request this, but have you ever considered a carb-free 4th of July? Or a reduced carb 4th of July?
I’m not anti-carb, but as you already know, I do like little challenges that I randomly create for myself. And I know we tend to consume more than usual on holidays, so having a plan that helps keep us on track would be good.
Even if you didn’t want to cut out all carbs, could you eat your hotdog or hamburger sans bun? Can you pick your three favorite picnic sides and eat only them, instead of taking some of everything?
Just some thoughts to help keep your 4th a little healthier. Whatever you decide, have a Happy and Healthy 4th of July!
