Happy Memorial Day

Here a just a couple of ways to have a healthier Memorial Day weekend:

• Find some time to rest and relax
• Drink lots of water (steer away from soda)
• Find a way to be active each day (talk a walk, go for a run, play volley ball with your family)
• Bring a healthy option to any picnics or parties you are attending
• Get a little bit of some much needed Vitamin D (but try not to get sunburned)
• Spend quality time with family and friends and worry less about whether the house is clean
• Get a massage or exchange a 10-minute backrub with a friend
• Do one activity you’ve been wanting to do, but haven’t had time for

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
