Some exercises in pilates are more subtle than others. They can seem simple or easy, but when you really get down to the nitty gritty of them they are quite a challenge. You can often wind up thinking about parts of your body you don’t usually consider.
So here is the proper way to do the breast stroke prep. It’s one of those that can seem easier than it is, but it is literally and figuratively the backbone that almost every other exercise we doing lying on our stomach is based on.
So watch the video above a couple times and then try some for yourself. A mirror might be helpful.
