Remember to be Kind

This is a reminder I certainly need too. During the hectic holiday season, try to remember to still be kind and nice to those around you. When you are rushing around, remember to hold doors open for people or grab something off the top shelf for someone. It’s easy to get caught up in what we need to get done and forget that the rest of the world is still there.

Plus, it might just be good for your well being. A recent study by Japanese researchers showed that when people actually counted the kind acts they did for others–like holding doors open for people–their own feelings of happiness increased.

So start counting your acts of kindness instead of the days until Christmas.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
