Using Time

When I was younger, I could waste hours lying around listening to music or looking through picture albums that I’d seen a thousand times before. I never thought about how I was spending my time for a second. Now, I rarely do that, and I know I’d feel like I was actually wasting time and could be doing something far more productive.

Not that I don’t waste time. I’m on Facebook, after all, which makes it nearly impossible not to waste time.

Anyway, this morning I took some time to look though some old pictures and I found this one–a favorite of my brother and sister.
It made me smile. And it reminded me that sometimes it’s good and important to waste a little time. Heck, anything that can make us smile probably isn’t all that bad for us.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
