Challenge Eight: 10 Minutes a Day

Woman stretching outdoors

This week find a way to add 10-minutes a day of exercise you wouldn’t normally do. The exercise can be anything you want as long as you wouldn’t normally do it. Don’t exchange this 10-minutes for something you already do. Think of it this way…

Maybe you know you don’t stretch enough, so you’re going to pick to add 10 minutes a day of stretching.

Maybe you know you aren’t happy with your arms so you’re going to do 10 minutes a day of arm work.

Maybe you’ve been wanting to increase your speed on an elliptical or running or swimming, so you’re going to do 10-minutes a day of interval training.

Maybe you haven’t been exercising regularly so you’re going to try different things every day and hope you find something you like.

Maybe you don’t walk at lunch so you’re going to start.

Maybe you’ve never done Pilates so you’ll find videos online and do the exercises for 10-minutes a day.

And if all else fails, just add 10-minutes to your current workout routin, whatever that may be.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
