For those who live along the Yarapa River fish is main staple, served at every meal. Our last night at the lodge, we had to catch our own. We caught Pirahna out of the river in the same spot we’d been swimming earlier that day. The chef at the lodge cooked us Pirahna nuggets for dinner.
Generally, I don’t think it is very easy to catch fish. Pirahna are the exception. They bite often. I caught my first fish (pictured here) about five seconds (no exaggeration) after I put my bait in the water.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
