At the office:

  • Stand at least every 30 minutes
  • Walk to the bathroom that is farthest away
  • Don’t just email a co-worker, walk to their desk and talk with them
  • Take multiple trips to the mail room throughout the day
  • Ask to stand during some meetings

  • Get up whenever commercials come on TV
  • Take walking breaks after reading 20 pages of any book
  • Take a short stroll after dinner
