Wouldn’t it be nice if kids got as excited about a fruit truck as they did about an an ice cream truck. Can you picture a truck painted with colorful, exotic fruits that strolls neighborhoods playing fun music? Imagine kids dropping their jump ropes and video game remotes to go out and run to catch the fruit truck before it turns down another street.
Maybe all this week fruit can be the dessert of choice.
I love fresh blueberries on my morning cereal. BUT chocolate almond chip, mocha chunk, cherry cordial, pistachio……hmmmmmm: dilemma! Ok, to be honest I’ve been eating fresh peaches since Tuesday’s pick at Bishop Farms in Guilford. The aroma in the orchard cannot be beat. The market itself is fabulous, fresh, and affordable.
