You don’t have to do a thing to asparagus to get me to eat it. I like it just the way it is (cooked or grilled, of course). But my Aunt makes a great asparagus and here is how she does it:

Ingredients:

Asparagus Bunch
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Water
2 Cloves Garlic

Directions:

  • Cut off end of stem
  • Stand asparagus in pot of boiling water and cook quickly, just until stems soften
  • Drain
  • Saute in frying pan with remaining ingredients.
  • Asparagus is best when el dente

So if you or someone you know typically wont eat asparagus, let them try it this way and see what they think
