I’ve worked in an office before, and I know that the candy bowl is an important opportunity to take breaks and to socialize, but why not put out a fruit bowl instead? It will be more expensive and will need to be kept fresh, but it’s a wonderful way to get you and the office healthier.

Plus, I bet you’d be surprised how many visitors you get.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.

I bet unsalted nuts or dried fruit (not the ones with sugar or High fructose corn garbage added) would be a healthier alternative to candy, slightly less perishable and more bite sized than fresh fruit.
