Healthy Tip 14: Candy Bowl

I’ve worked in an office before, and I know that the candy bowl is an important opportunity to take breaks and to socialize, but why not put out a fruit bowl instead? It will be more expensive and will need to be kept fresh, but it’s a wonderful way to get you and the office healthier.

Plus, I bet you’d be surprised how many visitors you get.

    I bet unsalted nuts or dried fruit (not the ones with sugar or High fructose corn garbage added) would be a healthier alternative to candy, slightly less perishable and more bite sized than fresh fruit.

    What a great idea! We have a lot of candy/sweet snacks in our office, but I think a fruit bowl would be a huge hit!
