Get Fit Tip 3–Think End World Hunger

We all know that in the United States and most of the western world, food comes pretty easily. We tend to take it for granted and we all have a tendency to overeat at some point or another.

However there are people in our world who don’t have that luxury. This shouldn’t make us feel guilty, but we can take time to consider it and perhaps adjust our actions accordingly. This week, try finding short articles online about world hunger. Read one every night with your family before dinner.

Maybe it will help you to stop when you’re satisfied instead of full. Even if it doesn’t, maybe it will inspire you in another way that can help others. No matter what, it will be a form of education and a reminder that we should all appreciate what we have.

Here is a link to get you started (you can even read about hunger in the U.S.):

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
