Make Time to Take Time

A healthy lifestyle isn’t just about working out and eating right, although both of those actions are very important. Making time for yourself is also a big part of being healthy. Working out and cooking well balanced meals all take a long time.

But finding time to do what you love it also important. If you love working out and cooking you’re one step ahead. If not, try to slowly build up to adding more time for yourself every week. Think of it like exercise. You start with 30-minutes a day three times a week, and build up time as you get more used to your new schedule. So start with that. Starting next week, try to find 30-minutes of time for yourself. Read, meditate, take a bath. Do whatever makes you happy.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
