It’s All About the Attitude

When it’s raining and the sky is grey, we often don’t want to get out of bed let alone get up and exercise. On beautiful sunny days no one wants to go to the gym or make it to their Pilates class. We can use every trick in the book to convince ourselves not to exercise. It’s much harder to trick our brains into wanting to exercise.

Training the brain to want to exercise starts by exercising even when you don’t feel it. You’ll feel better after you workout. You’ll have more energy and be glad that you didn’t waste an hour munching chips in front of the television. Moving the body every day is one of the best things you can do for it. You’ll de-stress, tone up, and feel more confident. The difference you’ll start to feel will make it much easier to look at exercise (and life) with the right attitude–a go get it attitude.

In the long run, exercise makes everything easier.

Thank you for giving your time to stop and read my blog. I hope it encourages you to keep moving. Move and the body will be happier. And when you're moving you can hike, run, swim in Jell-O, race over non-Newtonian fluids, travel the world or build igloos--if that's your thing. If not, you can watch me do it. This is just a spot to try and feel good about life.
